Our First SleepOut In Georgie

 Dunwich Beach....

And here we are...Our first Official Sleep Out in Georgie, we found this wonderful spot on an app called park4night, its fabulous you simply pop in the area you roughly want to visit and Voila, it shows you various spots that people have stayed, and reviewed, whether it has facilities, toilets etc, or a cafe, ao you can decide as to whether its appropriate for you.  And Dunwich Beach certainly ticked all the boxes.

At this time we didn't have a toilet so that was a must, being of a certain age, Mr P and I may need to pop out during the night ( it'll come to you all I promise!)

And the beach was beautiful, not totally sandy but went on for miles , so an evening stroll before dinner, was very welcomed.

There were a few fishermen, who did arrive late at night, and left very early in the morning. If we had known they were so noisy, we may have parked a little further away from the entrance to the beach. You live and learn.

there was a stunning sunset over the field , and stunning reflection in the glistening lake.

Now down to business, What did we learn and how did it go?

It Was absolutely fabulous, we Loved every single moment, it was so calm and relaxing, we had our dinner, and took a wander around the lake and took these beautiful photos.

our nights sleep was great, although we did decide maybe a mattress topper would give us a little more comfort, and started making a Camper van List of needs & wants.

Ive gotta say Im actually shocked at how quickly we became hooked, this Campervan life is actually extremely addictive. I found myself writing lists of all the places we want to visit, And when they started becoming reality I felt so content, Ive found my passion, Travels In our perfect Georgie.

And my new found love for photography, I find it so calming, My being in the moment, Mindfulness, which  helps my mental wellbeing.

And we managed to go back to Dunwich Beach a couple more times, and take our friends who also bought a camper van just after us.  The freedom is something that automatically comes hand in hand with being a Camper , well I call it Glamping, no tents or rolled up beds! And I get to have my morning cuppa In bed with a View and fresh air.

what more could we ask for? Oh more Adventures I hear you say, Well as you mention it, Ive plenty of them to come.
